Audacity /
AF: Audacity is like the freedom of a woman’s being. It appeals
to our intuition. we listen to it, trust it and go for it. that’s the way
I have always functioned: with audacity, always, always, always.
lD: Audacity means knowing the rules to more effectively break them.
When fragrance and audacity are one/
AF: In MANIFESTO, audacity comes first and foremost through the unusual choice of ingredients.
lD: the fragrance is like a game between a woman and light. the
green notes provide modernity and immediacy. Jasmine brings
extreme femininity while tonka bean adds a dazzling sensuality. It
is really the encounter of these three elements that is at the heart of MANIFESTO.
An olfactive manifesto /
lD: I think it would be simplistic to call it a floral fragrance, even
though jasmine is one of its main aspects.
AF: Jasmine is a magical flower with many, many sides to it: ultra
feminine, incredibly rich, opulent and sensual. As well as a somewhat animalic dimension. I think this is what enabled us to give MANIFESTO so much sensuality and femininity.
Inspiration /
AF: In creating this fragrance, I was especially inspired by loulou
de la Falaise with her subtly provocative touch, her femininity and
her hyper sensuality. I also envisioned all women who take risks,
who refuse to be bound by tradition. Spontaneous, joyful women
who stride toward new worlds.
A declaration of femininity /
AF: this fragrance is a tribute to femininity as Yves Saint laurent
portrayed it in couture: radiant and full of life. Femininity that stirs desire and admiration.
lD: I envision a very beautiful woman dressed in Yves Saint Laurent couture clothes. You notice her. She is confident, free-spirited, sophisticated and extremely feminine.

lD: this fragrance is for the woman who has self-assurance and a true aura. And knows how to use them.
AF: It’s an audacious fragrance, full of contrasts, making a genuine statement. A real signature.
